OK we bought a house, as you know, and with it comes home improvement projects up the ying-yang. Well I wasn't expecting the garbage disposal to be on that list. But one day it made a sad sound in the morning and then poof no longer worked. Immediately I began to freak about how much it was going to cost to hire someone to fix it. Did I mention that my husband and I are not quite the handy type yet? Well then I googled the situation and came upon the DIY Home Improvement Website.The pictures and directions made the situation look easy and it did help that the hands had long nails and fingernail polish.
So I thought I'd give it a go and try and see if I could do it. I also wanted to tackle my fear of electrical and plumbing home improvements. And GUESS WHAT! I did it!!!
I know to some this may seem a minor thing but for me it was a big deal, so big I had to take a picture of me in the process and blog about it. :)
