Home-made pizza crust rocks!

Gretchen was right. Making your own pizza crust is worth the extra few minutes. I'd been meaning to do it for awhile and finally got around to it tonight. If you still haven't made your own crust re-visit her post. I used the same recipe but substituted half the flour with whole-wheat pastry flour and it turned out perfect.

My favorite part about this crust was that I knew there wasn't any weird preservatives or chemicals in it. I topped it with BBQ sauce, chopped cilantro, grilled red onion, hand shredded cheese, and grilled chicken breast to make a fantastic BBQ chicken pizza. But any creative toppings would work.

Looks great Jabby. And we've been experimenting and you can even do stuffed crust!
